While we're talking about Hank...

For his birthday I'd love to make him a dollhouse for all his beloved Lego Guys. There might even be a head-changing station!

Cruising Craigslist I found this...

Adorable! 1979 vintage. Comes with furniture. But they're asking $200 and I was thinking more of a DIY sort of project.

This one would be cool to redecorate...
But it's five feet tall. Might not fit so well in my midcentury house (generously 850 square feet).

This one is way cool, but $150

This one is perfect and manly and everything...
but is in Bremerton.

Oh, but wouldn't his little guys be happiest in this?

Of course, it's $329.

I'll keep looking, but stay tuned for a project! I hope I can make this happen...

Feather Tree

I really want to try this in red... Looks a little tricky, though.

That martha... BEST projects that are almost impossible to easily or successfully execute.

Advent 'calendar'

Still inspired by this post, I decided to make an advent 'calendar' for my boys to open up.

First, I came up with a list of things to do each day (paying attention to the already busy calendar we have for the month).

Then, I printed each out (just using tables in Word- century gothic font).

And I printed out numbers on Avery labels.

I didn't want to buy much for the project, so I used envelopes I had in my stash.

Arranged them on the table.

Assembled the envelopes and stuck them on the wall.

I think it looks great next to the Stendig!
